Connections

Connect Strava

Link your Strava account to bring your saved routes into VOY. Pick a route as your course, and it appears as a guide line on the live map so viewers know exactly where you're headed.

Connect your account#

  1. 1

    Open Connections

Sign in on the web and go to Connections in the console.

  2. 2

    Authorize Strava

Choose to connect Strava and approve access on Strava's site. You're sent right back to VOY once it's linked. You can disconnect at any time from the same page.

Use a saved route as your course#

Once Strava is connected, you can attach one of your saved routes to a run as its planned course. On the live map and the recap, that course is drawn as a dashed guide line:

  • Viewers see the full planned route ahead of you
  • Your live position is drawn as a solid line as you progress
  • It's clear how far along you are and where the finish is

Routes are guidance, not autopilot

A course is a visual guide — VOY tracks your actual GPS, so your real route is always what's recorded, even if you take a detour from the plan.

What VOY accesses#

VOY only uses your Strava connection to read the routes you choose to use. Disconnecting Strava from the Connections page revokes that access. For the full picture, see Privacy & data.
