Getting started
Create an account, get the app, and share your first live run. Most people are up and running in a few minutes.
How VOY works#
There are two roles in every VOY run. Runners create an account and stream a run from the mobile app. Viewers open a public link to watch — no account, no app, nothing to install.
- You start a run in the VOY app; it streams GPS and heart rate live.
- A share link is created instantly — send it to anyone.
- Viewers watch your route, pace, and heart rate move in real time.
- They can send cheers and comments that appear on your run.
- When you finish, the link becomes a recap you can revisit anytime.
Create your account#
- 1
Sign up
Head to the sign-up page and register with your email and a password, or continue with Google. The same account works on the web and in the mobile app.
- 2
Get the mobile app
Install VOY on your phone — this is where you start and track runs. See The mobile app for pairing your GPS and heart rate.
- 3
Start a run
Open the app, pick your activity, and tap start. Your run goes live immediately and a share link is ready to send.
- 4
Share it
Drop the link in a text or group chat. Anyone who opens it can watch live — read more in Share links & viewers.
Want to see it first?
The interactive demo plays back a real run exactly as a viewer would see it — no account needed. It's the fastest way to understand the experience.
What you do on the web vs. the app#
Live tracking needs your phone's GPS and heart-rate sensor, so runs are always started and streamed from the mobile app. The web console is for everything around a run:
- Schedule an upcoming run and share its countdown link.
- Review your run history, stats, and recaps.
- Copy and manage share links.
- Connect Strava and manage your account.
- Download a finished run as a GPX file.
