Connect Spotify
Link Spotify to show the track you're listening to — on your own run screen, and to everyone watching your live run.
Connect your account#

Open Connections
You can connect from the phone (Settings → Connections) or on the web at Connections.

Authorize Spotify
Tap Connect Spotify and approve access on Spotify's site. You're sent right back to VOY once it's linked. Disconnect any time from the same page.
Where your track shows#
- On your run screen — a small “now playing” strip while you run
- On the live viewer — a compact pill so friends see your soundtrack
- It updates automatically as your music changes; no need to keep the app open
VOY doesn't play or control music
VOY only reads what's currently playing to display it — it never plays, pauses, or changes your music. Keep playing from Spotify as you normally would.
What VOY accesses#
VOY reads only your currently-playing track. Disconnecting Spotify from the Connections page revokes that access. For the full picture, see Privacy & data.
